Please read below for studio policies.

 Soma Lux is located in the Hill Country Wellness Center located at 13062 Highway 290 in Austin. You may enter through the main entrance, or the side glass door.

*If you arrive early, please wait to enter the studio until your scheduled time, as other sessions are taking place and we do not have a designated waiting area in the studio. For restroom access before your session, please enter the building through the main entrance (facing Highway 290). There are two restrooms located on the ground level.

 

Pilates Intake:

All clients must complete our intake documentation, so our team can better prepare and customize your workout. If you are a current patient at Precision Chiropractic and would like us to communicate with your chiropractor regarding your care, we also ask that you complete a HIPAA release form.

We ask that you inform us at least 24 hours ahead of your first session of any significant injuries, medical conditions, or other special considerations that should be taken into account when preparing for your session - thank you!

 

What to Wear for your Session:

Comfortable workout attire (not too loose) is recommended for your session. Shoes are not worn while using the Pilates equipment. If you prefer not to go barefoot, you are welcome to wear grip socks for your safety. Equipment is thoroughly cleaned between sessions. 

Please refrain from applying perfumes, lotion, oils, etc. before your session, as they can damage the equipment and present a safety hazard during some exercises.

Pilates Scheduling:

Pilates booking, rescheduling, and canceling can be completed online, or via email (hello@somaluxpilates.com).  Recurring sessions are available; inquire for details. Clients will receive a 24-hour text & email reminder from the scheduler.

Online scheduler: clients are encouraged to manage their schedule online via our scheduling software. Using the prompts in your confirmation emails, or via our website scheduling page, you can log in to your account, cancel or reschedule sessions, and provide payment information.

Recurring Sessions:

Clients are able book in to a regular weekly appointment time for private and semi-private sessions. This can be set up with the studio by emailing hello@somaluxpilates.com.

For recurring appointments, clients are required to have a Pilates package on their account. If no package is on file, the default will be a single session charged at the drop-in rate.

If the weekly session is canceled or missed for three consecutive weeks, the appointment time will be released for other clients.

Small Group Classes :

Small group classes are 45 minutes long and capped at 4 students. We recommend prior Pilates experience, as well as clearance from the instructor, before joining the group class. This is for the safety and comfort of the client.

We ask that all clients arrive on time for class so that they can participate in the warm up, and to minimize distractions in our small studio space.

The minimum enrollment for a small group session is 2 students. If only one student is enrolled, the session will be cancelled and the student will be given the opportunity to move to a different time, or purchase a private session at a discounted rate.

Pilates Cancellations:

If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice; the more notice, the better! This allows us to offer that slot to other clients who want to schedule.

Cancellations can be completed online by logging into your studio account, emailing hello@somaluxpilates.com, or by contacting the instructor directly. *Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged the full amount or deducted from the applicable package. 

 

Pilates Pricing & Payments:

Payments for Pilates sessions can be completed via our website. If you have an account already, please log in before purchasing so that your package is applied to the applicable account.

We require that clients keep a card on file in order to book & hold appointments. Current packages are available here.
